A holder of Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Mycology, Master of Science in Infectious Diseases and Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science from Kenyatta University. I am also a registered and update licensed member of Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologist (KMLTTB). I have an experience of 10 years of University teaching in different units in the profession of Medical Laboratory Sciences both in Undergraduate and postgraduate programs. I have been teaching different units namely; Medical Parasitology, Medical Virology, Medical Mycology, Medical Bacteriology, Immunology, Hematology and blood transfusion, Clinical Pharmacology, Forensic Science, Forensic Anthropology and Linguistics among others in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
I have also supervised postgraduate students to completion and many others who are ongoing with their projects and organized for seminars and conferences. Successfully awarded grants in association with my postgraduate students in the department. I have also been involved in curriculum writing in the areas of Medical Laboratory for undergraduates and postgraduates programs not only in Kenyatta University but also in other Universities and other external bodies and DMLT curriculums and writing of learning modules. As a chairman of the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, department of Medical Laboratory Science, Kenyatta University I have been involved and supervised the mounting of the MSc. MLS and PhD MLS programs in the department. I have served in different University committees as a Chair and member. Have been engaged as a Thesis External examiner in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Mount Kenya University among other achievements.
